Why hate winter when you can enjoy it by learning how to cross-country ski? The Buffalo Nordic Ski Club is pleased to announce our annual open house on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 7:30 - 9:30 PM in the John R. Yurtchuk Student Center of Daemen University, 4380 Main Street, Amherst.
Everyone is invited to attend this informative and entertaining event. No reservations needed. Among the many highlights of the evening: a video covering cross-country skiing for beginning to advanced skiers, waxing clinics, displays of equipment and clothing from area ski shops, door prizes, and much more.
Admission is FREE and is open to anyone interested in gaining more pleasure from our Western New York winters.
The Buffalo Nordic Ski Club offers FREE LESSONS to all club members. Other benefits of membership include weekly ski tours, monthly meetings, as well as several weekend trips to such places as Vermont, the Adirondack Mountains, and Allegany State Park.
